Today during a Las Vegas event, Sony Online Entertainment gave first details about its grand vision for the upcoming massively multiplayer online game EverQuest Next. According to SOE president John Smedley, many MMO games fail because "players consume content faster than developers can create it." With EverQuest Next, Sony is introducing a "living world," where players can create content alongside the development team.
